Hooking up my JVC PROHD Deck to Final Cut Pro?

I'm trying to digitize some footage to Final Cut Pro and I need to know how to hook up my JVC PROHD Deck. Is it just a firewire to my computer? Do I need B&C cables? I'm on a deadline and need some help quick. Thanks in advance.

I know you are probably done with this, since you posted 3 days ago, but here you go.

Firewire.

That's it.  Plug in the deck (4-pin to 6-pin cable) to the computer, THEN start Final Cut.  You may need to go to View>Refresh AV devices for FCP to recognize the device.
