Hoover 940 elite washing machine is leaking?

my washing machine is leaking water not through any of the hoses but coming from the shaft area at bottom of the bowl the machine still is working can this be repaired and if so what needs changing and a rough cost thanks

did you put in too much soap it will leak if you put too much soap.
