Hoover - Red Light Dirt Sensor

Question

Dirt Sensor Light stays red continuously on my Hoover U6433-900 Wind-Tunnel Upright Vac.I checked for a sensor light/beam in vacuumed air path that might have gotten covered over with dirt particles - but could not find one. Not sure what other kind of sensor technology they may be using or where else to look for a sensor.
