Hopes N Dreams favourite for Electrolux Selling Handicap
Hopes N Dreams has won the best odds for the Electrolux Selling Handicap at Hamilton in England on Friday, May 18, 2012. The winner of the class-6 event will be awarded a cash prize of £2,045.
The going will be good to soft in the 6 furlong 5 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 18:15 GMT. A total of 11 runners have lined up for action in the event and their names are as follows: Hopes N Dreams, Circuitous, Flow Chart, Cheeky Wee Red, Coastal
Passage, Mucky Molly, Abernethy, Look´n´listen, Mark Anthony, Tinzo and Crabbies Ginger.
Out of the above mentioned runners, Mucky Molly might not be seen in action at Hamilton. The final decision on her participation will be taken by her trainer before the start of the race.
At the moment, it seems that Hopes N Dreams has the best chance of winning today, as she is carrying very good momentum. The bookies have full faith in her abilities and the punters might also place the maximum number of bets on her.
The four-year-old filly has participated in nine races until now, winning one of them. Although her strike rate is on the lower side, she seems to have improved a lot in recent times.
Importantly, Hopes N Dreams’ only victory came in her most recent outing. She was not expected to deliver such a strong show, but did not allow anyone else to come closer in the end, winning by a couple of lengths.
The Tony Coyle’s trainee will be partnered by Julie Burke, who has won a few races at this level, but does not have an impressive strike rate. He will be looking forward to a strong show at Hamilton.
On the other hand, Circuitous might also manage to attract a few bets in his favour, as he is in decent form. He has taken part in 17 races, winning just one of them and finishing runner up on a couple of times.
The Keith Dalgleish’s trainee finished runner up in his most recent race, which shows the kind of form he is in at the moment. He will be partnered by Joe Fanning, who has won quite a few races at this level.
