Hopes N Dreams tipped to win Weatherbys Printing Handicap
Hopes N Dreams is favourite to win the Weatherbys Printing Handicap at Hamilton in England on Thursday, June 7, 2012. A cash prize of £3,881 has been set for the winner of the class-5 event.
The going will be good to firm in the 6 furlong and 5 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 16:00 GMT. A total of 10 runners will be seen in action and their names are as follows: Hills Of Dakota, Hopes N Dreams, Bandstand, Legal Eagle, Restless
Bay, Saxonette, Angelo Poliziano, Ballinargh Girl, Sea Salt and Barkston Ash.
Although the competition is expected to be a tough one, the best chances of victory are with Hopes N Dreams, as she is carrying a very good momentum right now. She will have to fight hard though, as there are some fierce competitors up against her
today.
The four-year-old filly does not have a good strike rate, as she has just managed to win a couple of races out of 11 attempts. However, she has also secured the third spot once, which shows that she has the potential to fight at the front.
Importantly, the Kevin Ryan’s trainee is carrying a very good momentum at the moment, as she finished in the top three in her previous three outings. She won two back to back races, but was unable to complete a hat-trick and ended up third in her most
recent run.
Despite not being rated as the favourite to win her last race, Hopes N Dreams gave a tough time to her opponents and fought hard at the front. However, she failed to outperform them in the end and had to settle for third place.
The favourite runner will be ridden by seasoned jockey, Julie Burke, who has won numerous races at this level and has got a decent strike rate.

On the other hand, the performances of Hills Of Dakota indicate that he will not make things easy for his opponents. He has participated in just three events, winning a couple of them. However, the track conditions might not suit him today, as he normally
delivers a good result on soft ground.
