I think he's clutching onto straws if you ask me, he was the one ducking and diving.

The least he could do would be to admit defeat.

Thats probably why he exagerated those shots from Calzaghe, so he can moan about them if he lost the fight.

I hate fighters like that, who are always in denial.

  1. A bit like people on here....

  2. calzaghe didnt play his best but still won.

  3. Hopkins sounded delusional in the post fight interview. Maybe he got hit harder than it looked.

  4. Hopkins is like Chelsea; he nearly always gets the job done but he's not that pretty to watch.

When it got to the latter rounds - and yes he's an old man - but wasting 5 minutes just play acting was a bit poor. he got what he deserved, though.

  5. He's a typical Yank that can't take anyone being better than him. He said he'll never be able to go back to the projects if he loses? I'll pay money to anyone willing to film him going back to the ghetto to eat humble pie. What a loser.

  6. First half of the fight i gave to hopkins, based on the knock down, but joe come on strong in second half of the fight,

    Hopkins is a sore loser

  7. No i think joe made hopkins look like an amateur. Not once did joe look for a clinch in the entire fight but hopkins was doing it the entire fight now thats amateurish

  8. I think Calzaghe always looks amatuerish. He is a sloppy fighter- undoubtedly. But he won this fight; mainly because Hopkins didn't. He threw punches and at least looked like he was doing something, landed some pitterpat, and got the win because of it. Hopkins had many opportunities to capitalize on Calzaghe's sloppy style and mistakes... but he didn't. So he lost.  And Hopkins should be the last person to gripe or complain after that fight.
