I hope this link works : http://media.crash.net/radio/4330.wma

If not got to : http://www.crash.net/home~cid~6.htm and listern to John talking about his back pains. Lots of medical help.

He seems to just be having a good laugh and hanging out in his " native " UK.

Your thoughts on his chances at Donnington? We know his team mate Ant West is doing rain dances, but what about John.

Here is Donny performances :

2007 5th

2006 8h

2005 11th (2 laps )

2004 8th

2003 11th

2002 8th

He cant come in 8th again .................. I have £10 on Ben Spies at Ladbrooks for that !!

  1. I think hopper is a talented rider but he always seems to be on second hand schit. He'sridden the p**s out of those bikes and just can't seem to do well. I wissh he could get a real ride.

Toseland should do well there . I hope he snags a podium.

I mean he's like me good looks will only do so much for you

  2. Morning Wiggy

I like Hopper - so I hate to have to say double figure's is where he'll probably be finishing at Donni.

Think about it - there'll probably be 4 Yami's a Duk and 3 Honda's  AT LEAST in front of him - not to mention the Suzuki's (& Spies which you boys are all so fired up about!) so you work it out!

    laters lovie

p.s. you haven't said where you think he'll land up?

p.p.s.  Good looks will only get 51 so far!!! I wonder? some girls do think it's only mingers who ride bikes (as they need a full face helmet to attract women) but I dunno? I'd sure like to find out though!  ; o )  He hee heee!

  3. Hey Wiggy,

I don't know really, I haven't seen anything from Hopkins. As 51 said, he needs a good ride and as Dingo mentioned there are 4 Yamahas, 2 Hondas and a Ducati to beat...

Hopkins will probably end up 8th or even 11th again.

As for your guy - Ben Spies, I don't think he'll do that good at Donnington too, but will be doing better in the US tracks (that one has to be for sure). And hopefully Toseland will prove he's British and win a podium!

  4. Hi wiggy

Poor old John is struggling a bit. The Kwacker looked so promising last year, although I still thought he was unwise to change teams. It's not helped that he's had a lot of down time due to injury and hasn't had much development time.

I don't think much of his chances, but probably better than Ants....unless it rains..........Hang on, it's Donny, and I'm going so it's bound to rain!

All being equal, and in a dry race........I'll go for somewhere between 10-13th. Maybe that's a little harsh. I hope he does better.

P.S. You're brave putting Ben at 8th. I still think he'll be lucky to get top 15. If you do manage to make it to Donny this year and he gets 8th or higher I'll get you a beer.
