Question:

Hormonal pregnant women?

I'm sorry for this, but I need to vent a little bit.

Why is it that when a pregnant woman gets mad, or sad, or shows any emotion at all, everyone has to make a comment about her being a hormonal pregnant woman?? They'll say stupid comments like theres a pregnant woman for you, or how do you like those new hormones? What... I can't have emotions because I'm pregnant? I know I probably sound like a crazy "hormonal pregnant woman" now, but this is all I've heard for the past 8 months and its very annoying. I haven't been OVERLY moody, actually I've been very calm during my pregnancy, but whenever I do get upset about something, everyone feels like they can make a comment. Also, when I eat something, like a burger and fries, people have to say Look at that appetite. People I'm not eating b/c I'm pregnant, I'm eating because I'm HUNGRY!

Sorry about this venting, but its really the first time I've done it my whole pregnancy, people are just getting on my nerves.

Thanks!

I went to school to pick up my son the other day and this b****** said to me god your really massive aren't you !!! how dare she there i vented as well am i being a "hormonal pregnant woman" no i was basically called fat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and dont get me started on strangers who touch your belly thats a whole other issue lol

  3. I am now in my 9th month and have heard this as well. It is very annoying and it makes me feel worse when people associate my feelings and appetite w/being pregnant. anyone who knows me, knows I have always loved ice cream and chocolate. I have also been very straight forward w/my feelings. I just have to grin and bare it. I know it gets on your last nerve and you want to throw the hamburger at their head, :) but just think, you only have a little bit longer. CONGRATS!!!

  4. just wait for the first week or so after the baby is born.. LORD don't cry!  People will slap you with the post pardum hormones!  I dropped a can of veggis on my foot a week after my son was born and of course cried.. I was hit with the "its hormonal"... IT FREAKIN hurt!

  5. I feel the same way especially people that you don't know. It is sooo aggravating!

  6. It sucks doesn't it!?  Believe me, I know when I am being horomonal & irrational & when I'm just being me.  My husband seems to think that if I tell him to pick up his clothes off the floor that its my horomones kicking in!  And yeah... if I decide to have a scoop of ice cream, it must be "cravings".  Very irritating.  The only way to balance it is to relish all the "Oh you're just glowing" and "You look so cute" comments :-)
