Horrible, annoying tingly sensation in finger...?

It's really bugging me. It's on my middle finger of left hand. It has been tingling for a few hours now and is horrible! It's a very small area, but it started at base of finger and now is just below knuckle. What caused it and how can I get rid of it? It feels like it's just on/underneath skin, but there's nothing there. Very weird!

Sounds like it is going numb from lack of blood flow. Rub it, exercise it, put a warm rag on it. If that doesn't work take a rest, maybe you are overstressed and the nerves need a rest.
