Alright. I should start by saying that I am a 21 year old female. I am in good physical health as far as I know. I do have OCD, GAD and Panic Disorder. For each of these, I am on Paxil CR and have been since I was 19. At the beginning of this summer, my anxiety flared up horribly. I worry about every little thing now. My head has been feeling very cloudy, and I feel as though my eyesight is being affected. Just recently, I went to the eye doctor and got glasses, but they are for an astigmatism so I don't have to wear them all the time. Anytime I get tongue tied or anything like that, I assume I have a brain tumor. When I can't remember the exact conversation I've had with someone, I worry it's a brain tumor or I'm losing my memory. It is horrible. I want to get better but I can't seem to. I go to a psychologist and he thinks this is all in my hear, but I don't believe him!

  2. Have you seen a gynecologist?  This is just a suggestion.

I am not a doctor, but I would suggest finding ways to relax.  I know it is easier said than done and someone that doesn't have your condition wouldn't fully understand this.  At least you are aware of your condition.

Take a yoga class.  Take a leisure stroll through a park with a good friend.  Listen to soothing music.  Take a vacation from work/school.  If you're overwhelmed with school, take a year or so off.  Don't pressure yourself to complete college in 4 year, take your time.

Laugh, cry, play!  You're young, you're healthy, enjoy life!  Don't allow these less than important things ruin your quality of life.  Keep in mind that nothing is perfect, so don't let it bother you.  Gold is the imperfection in the granite.

  3. Step 1: Ensure your emotion is controlled daily. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get worry easily

Step 2: Think before your action. Don't repeat her past experience on herself. Remind herself from time to time.

Step 3: Be confident to yourselves. Remember everyone is the winner. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize an egg"

Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time

Step 5: Increase scope of life. Meaning that she should involve in more social activities like dancing, outing and others.

Step 6: Put a rubberband on the wrist. If there is a negative thought, Tighten the rubber band and release it. Hence the effect of the pain would be able to reduce the possibility of negative thought.

    Good Luck.

  4. It sounds like you might need to change your prescriptions..sometimes prescriptions work for awhile, then stop working. Talk to your doctor, and let him know that the prescriptions aren't helping like they should, and ask if you can try another one. Trial and error until you find one that helps you.

  5. I am sorry about your problems. I have anxiety problems too. Mine flare up when my sons worry me. They are grown but I still worry about them. I hope your doctor will believe you. I do. Maybe you should look for a new doctor.

  6. First of all, let me say that I feel for you. I have suffered from anxiety and depression for several years so I know where you are. Have you thought of seeking a second opinion, perhaps from a medical doctor, like a psychiatrist? Maybe you just need to switch meds.

  11. I think your medication if off, so check to see if you can reduce your dose with your doctor or change meds.

  12. you should try get a hobby or do some exercise to help you relax like walking or swimming or listen to music and when you feel bad try to have a friend to talk about ur feelings or better yet write it down on a journal. if your religious ask for guidance and prayer request.

ask your doctor wat you can do for the anxiety.

you can also try and meditate to distract you for a whie from worrying about things

And you dont have have a brain tumor if you are so worried about that go get get CAT Scan or someting so that can be something less to worry about and people sometimes forget things if their stressed, work too much, or worry or think to muc but you'll be fine try to find time for yourself to relax and worry less.

well i hope i helped and hope you get better

  13. I suffer from anxity. I think your DR should order a brain MRI. That`s the only way to rule out a tumor. If a Dr tells you It`s all In your head tell him to take a walk and get a second opinion. I suffer from cronic pain. A DR once told me It was all In my head. I went and had MRI`s and It turned out I had hernaited discs. I just had my second surgery 5 weeks ago. DRs don`t know everything. Good Luck.
