Horrible highlight job?

I have light brown/dark blonde hair, and I went to a salon just to get really subtle highlights in the front of my hair, just framing my face. And the woman forgot I was there, and by the time she took the foils out my hair was bleached platinum only in one thick strip in the front! It looks horrible and stupid. I think i'm going to dye over it, and try to get the dye to match my regular hair color, but i'm worried that dying that chunk of hair within one or two weeks of it being highlighted will damage it. Is that doing to make it really brittle or miscolored or something? Help!

i agree! they did the damage so they fix it girl, you shouldn't have to pay, because they were moronic enough to leave you, so do that! lol

I would definitely go back to the hair salon and tell them to fix it. I mean, they screwed it up, you an unsatisfied customer you have the right.
