Horror, theatrical makeup?

hey i am doing my senior project and i have chosen to study theatical makeup..like scary stuff..and i need a mentor how can teach me about it....and at the end of my project i will put makeup on my friends and family and transform them..so where could i look for a mentor? or do you know any cool websites that can help me with professional stuff like this?

  1. well instead of finding a professional and having to pay then for it, before you do do that, find the theatre makeup people for your school plays/musicals etc. they can give you tips on the shadowing, the uses of different makeup for different things like a beard/hair etc. how to gray hair, starting a fresh pallet. and then after learning regular basics, find a professional, less money that way.  


  2. well you could go to a halloween store and find face paint and fake blood. and creepy colored contacts are great!

    youtube has a lot of instructional makeup videos that are helpful
