Horror Story Ideas?!?!?

A draft for my assignment is due tomorrow and I cannot think of a way to end my horror story!

So far, it is about a brother and sister that move in with their aunt after their parents die. Suddenly people in the neighbourhood, friends, neighbours start to die. At first the bro and sis think it is the aunt, BUT it turns out to be... (The cat?!?!)

Maybe a bit like a supernatural story??

ANY IDEAS!?!?

Have the dead people come back to eat the living. Zombie stories are a guaranteed A+ due to the inherent awesomeness of zombies.

Edit: Pass on the zombie story if you want, but keep in mind that the world doesn't need any more C students, which is what you'll get if you go the non-zombie route.
