Can someone please remind me, when a horse is about 2 1/2, which teeth are their deciduous ones? As in, which ones fall out to be replaced by adult teeth?

Thanks!

A link to equine baby teeth....keep a good lookout while your horse is shedding his baby teeth...you want to make sure all the caps have come off.

  2. Yes, they will all be replaced

  3. The front ones in the center.  I think on top is usually first.

  4. i think a horses 4 front teeth fall about when there about 2 and 1/2

  5. Horses have 24 deciduous teeth, so basically all their teeth will be replaced. This starts at about 2 1/2 years and can cpntinue until about 4 1/2. By the time a horse is 5 they are said to have a 'full' mouth, in other words, all their adult teeth.
