  1. oster makes a nice grooming set. however it includes. a hoof pick, hard brush, soft brush, mane comb, mane brush, thick curry, and the case it all comes it.

i bought this and am very happy with the quality. however i don't like how the hoof pick doesnt have a brush on the other side (but it does pick very well lol) The mane comb bends and doesnt work very well unless your horses mane or tail is very thin. the thick curry doesn't get much dirt off, It seems like it massages more than cleans. The carrying case isnt very convieniant either, its made out of material and collects dirt/dust very quickly. there are also bans that keep every brush and item in place. they get on my nerves because they fall out anyway and the case isnt sturdy. So in my opinion, its more of a hassle.

anyway, i've been MUCH happier buying the stuff seperately because I can pick each item out and make sure its what I want. It's alot more comfortable and convieniant to have a sturdy case.

If you want things to match chicksaddlery.com has really cute and great brushes/items for low prices.

    good luck!

  2. I would get the Oster Brush set. They are really nicely made brushes and come in good colors. Pink, green, blue and purple.

I also love these cary bags:

EDIT: You need to buy the curry seperatly. I like this one:

Its not just a face brush. I use it on my thin skinned (= will not tolerate a hard curry) TB. It really works on loose hair, dried dirt, in baths and on legs.

    But here is another:

  3. well you can make this yourself, just get a basket, or bag, and buy everything seperate, which is cheap. curry comb, like $1.00! or you can go out and buy a matching set, Oster has really good ones, but they are a bit pricy... ($49.99) good luck!

  4. um fly spray, mane and tail brush, and thats it but for washing you'll need a sweat scraper, sponge, shampoo ect

  5. so, go to a local tractor supply of farm supply and pick these things up, all these places carry all these things, and I guarentee you most will have a grooming tote!

  6. OSTER GROOMING KITS RULE THE WORLD OF GROOMING... GET THEM ... They are durable, good looking, and horses love the feel of them...
