I was sooo in love with this guy back in the 60/70/80's (

this man was good ! can anyone,( maybe himself !!,) give

me closure !! ( I have gone on to own a treking centre )

I think most of the older riders are retired now, if you look, we seem to be seeing a whole lot of new, younger riders.

Have you tried the website, perhaps thats where to start. Haven't heard anything of him for years, used to love watching Horse of the Year show, seems so long ago now......

david broom is retired from competative riding and runs clinics at his equine centre in wales.he is fit and well and has been very successfull at passing on his know how to his children.he also still looks a lot younger than harvey smith!
