I want a Clydsdale horse but not a racing horse. My dad said it was about $2,000. Do you have any advice on how to make money?

  1. While the horse itself may only be  $2000, horses are relatively expensive to keep, so you'll need a good bit more money than that for food, bedding, tack etc. as well as boarding if he's not staying with you.  With that in mind, on to the money... I think the best idea would be to ask around and see if any local barns need some help.  That would earn you some money, and you'd get a lot more experience with horse care, and it would give you a realistic idea of the work involved with keeping a horse.  That way by the time you have the money saved up, you would be absolutely sure you want a horse, and ready to look after it properly.  Good luck!
