    Saw leaves

    White flowered weeds

    Acrons (cause laminius)

    All Butterfly plants

All these can make your horse sick and are potentially deadly.

  7. Horses won't usually eat poisonous plants (I'm assuming this is what you mean) if there's a good supply of hay around. Poisonous plants don't taste good. The best way to make sure your horse doesn't get his mouth on something he shouldn't is to make sure your pasture is free of poisonous plants! (This is why lots of people prefer paddocks without grass and graze their horses on a lead line.)

The following plants are VERY poisonous:

Poison Hemlock - This plant can cause your horse to die within 15 minutes of it eating it, so make sure your horse doesn't come anywhere near this plant!!!

    Tansy Ragwort

    Field Horsetail

Buttercups - Sometimes you see this in hay, but only because the poison is inactive when the plant is dry.

Yew - This one is a silent killer, your horse shows no symptoms.

    Oleander

Bracken Fern - Your horse has to eat LOTS OF THIS to have problems (hundreds of pounds over a week or more).

    St. John's-Wort

    Nightshade

    Hope this helped.

  8. Paterson's curse

    Crofton Weed

    Fire Weed

  9. try a book like the horseman's guide etc. i do know they can't eat oak, yew, or many plants, tree leaves or bushes which are poisonous to them
