What is the basic harness item should you use to move your horse from one place to another?

* A Halter

* A Rope

* A Saddle

* A Bridle

  3. If you want to just walk them from their stall to the paddock you use a halter.

  4. A halter because when would  you use a rope?  You would use a saddle and bridle when you are riding from place to place.  It's obviously a halter.

  7. A halter if it is just one close place to another - say field to stable/stable to field.

    However if you have an injured horse that has to be walked out as part of its recovery programme, it should have the bridle on rather than the headcollar/halter, as this gives you much more control and is much safer.
