Horse Racing. Is there a web page in the UK that gives past racing results?

I would like to go back to the 80s for some results and was just wondering if any results were kept.

on the web I should think it would only be big race events that you could find out, such as the National, the Gold Cup and the Derby, all of which have their own web sites and give the 1,2,3 results of past races.

I can get you the results of the Grand Nationals of the 80's if thats what you're after.
