Horse Racing: Twiston-Davies expects Khyber Kim to claim the race
The famed trainer of the champion racehorse Khyber Kim, Nigel Twiston-Davies is indeed very enthusiastic about the upcoming event at the Cheltenham Festival that has been scheduled to take place on the 15 March. The runner of the Stan James Champion Hurdle,
Khyber Kim is being seen as a potential winner by his trainer. Twiston-Davies thinks the talented racehorse could give a tough time to his rivals at Cheltenham.
Khyber Kim is being sent out to contend the Champion Hurdle event as a 25-1 favourite. According to his trainer, these odds do not go with his improving progress as Khyber Kim was successful in holding off the champion colt Celestial Halo in two of his last
starts last racing term including the Grade I Aintree Hurdle. Celestial Halo recently claimed the Grade II National Spirit Hurdle that took place at Fontwell this Sunday, by a distance of six lengths.
When the trainer Twiston-Davies for approached by the correspondents regarding the development of the racehorse, he was reported as saying that Celestial Halo would be a good competition for his trainee, meanwhile the other entries of the event are also
doing a good job. Twiston-Davies said, “His form with Celestial Halo is pretty good, he murdered him at Liverpool last season and he must have a very good chance.”
The trainer went on to say that his champion colt Khyber Kim was not in the limelight for quite some time, but he is not bothered because once he performs at the Cheltenham Festival, he will win the hearts of his fans and connections by giving a spectacular
win since he is in good form now.
Before racing at the Kempton racecourse on this Saturday, the racehorse Khyber Kim trained with his stable mate Astracad. Talking about this working session, the trainer Twiston-Davies told the correspondents that Khyber Kim did a great job. He added that
he practiced well over the two miles and stood out amongst all the racehorses. The best part, Twiston-Davies said was the fact that Khyber Kim seemed satisfied with himself.
