  1. First of all if you took a cow, trained it and ran it in a race it wouldn't be a horse race it would be a cow race. Second, if you took a cow, trained it and put it in a race you would have instant milk shakes!

  2. Like I said in your other question!!....

Ummmmm with my 14 years training purebred Charolais Cattle, I will NOT RECCOMMEND this. It takes time and effort to get a calf that quiet. You should have a special bond with that animal since birth (without mama cow). USE A STEER OR A BULL NOT A COW OR HEIFER!!!

    *they are extremley stubborn!*

    It can cause health problems.

They can run really fast just like horses but are not bred for running....you will be the first person in history to run in a race with a cow

PS USE A BEEF COW AS THEY ARE THE MOST CONFORTABLE THAT THOSE SPINY  AS THOSE UGLY DAIRY COWS....BEEF COWS ARE REALLY CUTE.

Dairy Cattle = skin, bones and milk

Beef Cattle = cute, cuddley and fat!!!!

  3. The cow is not bred for running.

Regardless of training and diet, a race with a horse would be no contest.

But the milk shakes are free

  4. You would need to start training it as a CALF & it might just have half a chance in a quarter horse race that isn't too long!  Cows are quite intelligent & can actually be trained to do just about anything that any other animal can be trained to do!  Their body shape makes it diffucult to ride them for any length of time!

  5. What?!

The cow would loose so badley! Cows are not ment for racing no matter how good u trained it. they don't have the apility or strenth.

  6. Racehorses have been bred for speed and (in some cases) stamina.  Cows have been bred for milk and meat.  If by pure chance a cow and a horse were running in close, roughly parallel lines, the horse could outrun the cow without even trying.

  7. Having grown up on a farm/ranch, I can say that cows, although useful, aren't the smartest animal on the farm.  They also aren't as sleek as horses.  Cows don't have the power and speed a horse has.  I have personally ridden a cow and trust me when I tell you that you would neither have a comfortable nor a smooth ride.

However, if you DO decide to do this, please film it and put it on You Tube.

  8. no way; they don't allow cows in horse racing.
