  1. Just how many horses do ya think would have won a race with an udder slapping around?

  2. Awesome! Cows are so much faster than horses anyday! Plus you can drink cow milk............. or somethin! Feed it some carrots, just like a reindeer, then itll go sooper fast like that one fat guy's DEER that brings presents to every1 on christmas!

  3. Tell me erasmo, what colour is the sky in your world?

  4. i wouldn't attempt it. cows are not meant to race. this cow could get seriously injured. and u could lose a lot of money.

  5. Ummmmm with my 14 years training purebred Charolais Cattle, I will NOT RECCOMMEND this. It takes time and effort to get a calf that quiet. You should have a special bond  with that animal since birth (without mama cow). USE A STEER OR A BULL NOT A COW OR HEIFER!!!

    *they are extremley stubborn!*

They cost around $1,000 for a good cow or bull and $2.00/lb for the best steer.

    TRAINING:

You should train it to lead when they are 3 or 4 weeks old (they are extremely stubborn). They bawl and cry out. They're just scared. When the calf does that.....run away from mama cow. She will charge you and bunt you so bad that you might break a bone or two. It depends on the cow and her mood.

Once trained and tied up with head high....oh man this is ridiculous.....you can get it used to the saddle pad....rub it on her and wave it infront of her to get her accoustomed to the smell and the looks. She may freak out and jump wildley....stand back and let her calm down on her own.

Use a rope halter with a chain around the chin for extra grip on slowing the animal.

    IMPORTANT NOTE:

Put a nose ring in the bull for extra protection and so that he will pay attention. I will say this ---- bulls are extremly dangerous if not quiet. He may find someone to attack and beat to death. It is all about the careful breeding and studying.

    FOOD:

I will suggest using for food - grain with a high amount of protein, Carbs and fat. It will give your animal high nutrients. I suggest going to your local feed store that have horse grain and cattle and talk about your thing you want to do!

    CONVINCING:

Convincing that you want to race your cow....will be a challenge. They will just laugh and say that you are joking. Take your steer/bull and show him to the man or woman in charge and take your animal for a run and his eyes will be huge when you are done.

*But on the good side* when your steer gets out of shape you can butcher him.

*Bad side* Racing a mature Female will hurt her mamory veins, suspensory legament and may cause her udder to have mastitous which is a deadly desease of irragular udder and teat size. It can lead to other problems in her life and cannot have a calf----also they have PMS PROBLEMS like humans!!!

Well have fun with this!!! Its going to get a long and wild ride for you 2!!

    *****USE BEEF CATTLE******

  6. Maybe a match race with a horse vs. a cow (better a steer), but in a horse race with a cow in the lineup? Three words:

    Ain't

    Gonna

    Happen

  7. that's ridiculous!  I really don't know how to train animals for speed though.

I bet if you succeed and show someone in charge the cow's speed maybe they would arrange a race for you.

I would certainly pay to watch that.  Good Luck!

  8. cows are less intelligent and therefore more difficult to train. But it might be good for a laugh

  9. You are kidding aren't you?  Even a regular old Quarter Horse (one that was not bred for speed) can out run a cow.  Why do you think cowboys and cowgirls use horses to herd cows?  They try to get away, but you go after them on your horse and turn them back to the herd.  No cow would have a chance against a professional race horse of any breed.  If you decide to try it anyway, I hope I'm around, I'll make some money betting against you. Ha Ha
