Horse Riding In Arenas In Winter.

Hi, very soon i am going to be purchasing a horse. I live in a town south of Edmonton, AB, so winters get quite cold. At the stables, the indoor arena gets quite busy, so i may not always be able to ride in it.

In winters, is it okay to ride your horse in an outdoor arena?

My horse will be a warmbloood, and kept in a paddock.

Yes, so long as the going isn't too deep or slippy. It will also have to be well lit.
