If I was studying on a Equine/Horse Studies Course and had to wear a White Shirt as part of the Uniform - would a Ben Sherman one be ok/accepttable?

Thanks.

  1. Sounds fine to me. Make sure to wear some nice pants too though. Keep your hair combed nicely. Also, make sure to shave.

  2. Hi what college you going to? I went to Moreton morrell in Warwickshire, and we were told the dress code in advance, and the do's/dont's. We were told smart/casual as in jeans, and college polo shirt for lectures, and any colour jodphurs and college polo shirt for practical stuff.

  3. I studied Equine Management and our uniform was cream/white jodphurs (or breeches) and long boots (or short boots and gaiters/chaps). We also had to wear the college issued ties with a white shirt. Personally, I don't think it would be. We wore proper show-jumping shirts.

However, the teachers got more relaxed with the uniform as the course went on and we all stopped wearing it.

What college are you going to?

  4. I never wore anything but blue jeans @ Cornell U. But that was a long time ago.

I wouldn't spend too much on the clothes.
