Horse VS Greyhound?

Question

In a 500 yard dash, who would win a race, a champion quarterhorse, or a champion greyhound?

Would the outcome change if it was a 200 yard dash?

Im going with the Grey hound in the shortun but the Horse in the long run horse has to much weight tomove that fast from a dead stop but plenty of power to out run the dog with a little distance

They Italian Greyhound is the 2nd fastest, and 2nd fastest accelerating land animal in the world. It can reach a speed of 40 mph in three strides. No horse can do that.
