  1. local tack shops

    newspaper ads

    borrow a friend's

online horse stores like dover and stateline tack

ebay, if you're what some people call "ebay-smart"

or the barn your riding at may have lesson helmets you can use

    have fun!

  2. online:

    http://www.123tack.com/winning/dept.asp?...

    this one is my fav:

    http://www.123tack.com/winning/product.a...

    a catalog:

    http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp...

  3. Congrats on starting lessons. Most barns have helmets you can borrow, or you could buy one at any local tack and equipment shops. Here are some sites where you could get one:

    www.premiumhelmets.com/

    www.horse-rider-etc.com/helmets/helmet...

    www.equestrian-tack.com/hatshelmets.ht...

    www.jeffersequine.com/

    www.theequestriancorner.com/

Don't use bike or showboard helmets - they might look similar but aren't designed to protect you in the same way an equestrian helmet will

  4. Troxels make great lesson helmets. Doversaddlery.com has a nice selection.

  5. If where you are taking lessons is a actually lessons place. And they arent just giving lessons to you then im pretty sure they will have helmets for you to use.

  6. You will probably be able to hire one tomorrow at the stables. But for the future, you can buy one at a tack shop or horse feed merchant.

  7. Tack Shops...asking a friend who rides or your instructor if you can borrow one if you still can't find one. good luck

  8. Try a local tack shop. They usually will have something that you are looking for.

Some boarding/ lesson stables might have some to borrow.

If you have a friend that's not going on the ride then ask to borrow theirs.

Um you also could also look on-line to find all of the places with helmets that are not a hassle to go to. Just http://www.google.com it!

Oh and try and find a helmet that's adjustable

Have a super fun tine on your ride!

  9. Try tack shops.

Some stables have helmets that most students can use until they get their own. Also, you can order helmets from the internet.
