i have ALWAYS wanted to go horseback riding as a child but my parents didnt let me. now i ahve been visiting poland for 3 months and the first day that i arrived, to my surprised my aunt lives right besidea horse farm and they let me ride everyday for free.

in a couple of days i'll be returning back to montreal, and i would love to continue and improve what i have learned back home.

what i'm asking is if anyone knows a place thats close to there, that i would be able to go weekly?

  1. You'd have to go out to a suburb, like Hudson.

  2. there are many stables in the Hudson/St Zoltic area and on into Cornwall Ontario.  There are a lot of English style (hunter/jumper) barns in the area and I know of at least 1 western barn near Cornwall.  Check the yellow pages of the phone book or Canada411 to find a barn that is on your side of Montreal

Some of the barns will have lessons and you can use the barn's horses, saddles & bridles you must supply your own helmit and boots.

I had the opertunity to spoil my daughter and she as been riding for many years and still loves the sport.

Safe home and good luck on your search.

  3. Just a quick note the above poster meant  Hudson / St. Lazare.  But actually most of the stables are in St. Lazare.  There is practically one on every corner.  Heres a list of the stables in our area.
