  1. i think a flag bet is a square grid or 9 x squares = 3x3 ,

you put a horse in each square , and this gives many winning lines ,  a bit like a union jack , if you get a full line of winners , each winning line pays out ,

if you get one wrong in a line , that line is a loser ,

    i might be wrong...................

i reccomend an each way accumulator for horses , using 4 x selections , priced between 7-1  and 12- 1

and i forget the win bet and just go for the place bet , and if they all win , its a bonus

    example =

    a £ 5 e/w accumulater will cost £10.

based on 4 x horses priced @ 10-1 , paying 1/4 odds , the return will be as follows ,

if they all get a place  or a mix of winners and places your return will be £750

if they all come 1st , your return will be £ 73,955.31

    .................good luck
