  1. Raz you are so right on the money with your answer. I have high praise for someone who tells the truth. Listen to Raz

  2. if you want a good horsae then find a nice colored fast hourse if i were u i would choose a centoraurian horse

  3. Well...since you are looking for a horse that can do both hunt and saddle seat and she already likes Morgan's have you considered an Arab? They have similar personalities to Morgans but are also known for their huge hearts. They will take care of their rider better then any other breed I have ridden. Many people don't like them because they are "flighty" but I have worked with many and found none of them any worse when Morgans or TBs. The other reason I think an Arab would be a good idea for your daughter is because as an Arab show you can show in many different disciplines in the same weekend and meet other people like yourself who have an interest in both hunt seat and saddle seat. Good luck finding a horse.

  4. Experience has shown kids do much better with a horse they can learn from, that usually comes from a horse 12-15 yrs. old & up. Don't ever buy a horse thinking the kid and the horse can grow together. Green on Green is NEVER a good combo. I have been riding for a good many yrs now & I still prefer a quite seasoned horse. The mare I currently compete on is 21yrs old & she;s as strong & fast as her younger counter parts; in fact she's the pacesetter at lots of events.

And beleive me she is expected to keep up that pace for at least another 4 yrs, then she can consider retirement. the horse comming on to take her place is an 8yr old not expected to hit her prime untill she reaches 12-14 yrs.

Buy smart & listen to lots of advice. GOOD LUCK!
