Question:

Horse colleges in like anywhere else?

now i now there are places in California for horse colleges but what about calorado, wyoming,idaho,texa, albama, anyhting like that, along witht he rodeos type, and alos with lerning about equine management, maybe breeding,massaging and farriers.. I appreciate everybody that e-mailed me about the colleges in cal. im getting better results here than just lookin on google or yahoo. thanks

  1. i know it on the east coast but Findlay, Ohio has a VERY VERY VERY nice college. Findlay UN and so in Centenary in NJ also very nice


  2. There's an agricultural college down in Curtis Nebraska that teached animal husbandry, and around here we have one of the biggest rodeos in the country (including the one in the movie Borat)

  4. all those places have them but the best in my opinion are nmsu new mexico state and oklahoma has alot of these options they have everything from farrier school to equine massage therapy there.

  5. well right now i'm at brigham young university in rexburg, idaho and they have an animal science program here along with a riding program. it doesn't have a whole lot of extra stuff like massage but does pretty well covering the horse industry and things like breeding, riding, training, etc. it is a religious school although any one can attend regardless of religion.

    there aren't a whole lot of horse programs in the south except for in private schools. auburn university has an awesome vet program and university of georgia is pretty good too. most of the colleges that i know of in the south are more english kind of riding so your best bet is probably out west. where i'm at now there is no english at all so its a really big change compared to georgia.  wish i could be of more help. good luck
