  1. my horses will eat ice pops. the little ones that are like in the plastic wrappers. also they eat candy canes and mints. anything sweet they will probably eat. my horses also like corn husks. strange as it sounds. haha. good luck.

  2. Well, horses love fruits, roots, and sweets.  Here is a horse cookie recipe that is yummy, nutricious, and completely horse safe!!

    Recipe for Oatmeal Carrot crunchies:

1 cup dry plain oatmeal(u can find some in cereal isles

    1 cup flour

1 cup carrots chopped in tiny chunks

    1 tsp salt

    1 tsp sugar

2 tsp veggetable oil(u may need a little more depeding on the thickness)

1/2 cup of molasses(may need more depending on the thickness)

Mix the oatmeal, salt, four, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix in the chopped carrots.  Stir in veggie oil.  Pour in the molasses. Stir until all ingrediants are mixed together.   When pretty thick, roll up in egg-sized  balls or chunks and place them about an inch and a half apart on a greased cookie sheet.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit and cook cruncies in oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Well I hope I helped!  If you have any other questions just ask away!

  3. A lot of horses like sweet things...but mine eat fruit loops and pop tarts! they won't even touch a carrot or anything that isn't sweet! the little buggers!

  4. Hey Ash, this is tay

I would go with pretzels or carrots!

  5. well my horse likes doritos, watermelon, and carrots and apples of course! but a different horse at my barn eats PB & J sandwiches! Horses ussually like mints, but dont give them to many because it will rot their teeth, seriously! They dont brush their teeth so when you feed them sugared things it will be bad on their teeth.... So only like once or twice a month give a horse a mint.

  6. Horses really like pretzels! You could crush them up, cover peanut butter with them, and then feed them to your horse!
