  1. Well that depends if you know they are bug bites or not. the horse i lease had bumps on him to and the vet said it could be from other things besides bugs like not rinsing all the shampoo out of his/her coat or your horse may have eaten something he/she is allergic to etc.

  2. Tis the season. Mosquitoes are hatching, and the ponies are suffering.

My boy came in today with hundreds of quarter-sized welts on him. I bathed him, walked the paddock, checked his buddy, then when I was walking him off, I got literally attacked by mosquitoes.

'If I apply Repel-X every 24 hrs, he doesn't sweat, doesn't roll, and doesn't get wet otherwise, it does just fine. Lets face it, that just doesn't cut it.

So... if you find anything that does the trick, please let me know.

  3. Well she might be allergic to the flies I have 2 suggestions 1 is put a fly mask, hood, sheet, and boots on her. Number 2 is a fly spray is Endure it has a yellow spray spout black bottle and the label is blue it works like a charm but VERY expensive the cheapest i can find it is 30 bucks for the quart. I hope this helps!!!
