  1. sounds like he is brushing. (his hooves are hitting his legs as he moves)

use brushing boots or bandages to protect his legs

  2. Your horse may brush there legs toogether and if that is the prob you need to start using running boots or exercise wraps

  3. It's likely that she brushes (her hind legs move too closely together) She should be wearing brushing boots on all four legs, and over reach boots on the front - this is correct turnout for riding any horse. Where is the cutting?

  4. Could be bad shoeing or trimming causing horse to be out of balance and producing interferrence.  Get some protective gear for legs and hooves before riding again.  Help her all you can.

  5. Well riding on the road is much different than riding in sand or in the grass.  She doesn't need to pick her hooves up as high as in sand so she may be brushing them.  Try some polo wraps or splint boots to protect her legs, and some bell boots to protect her hooves.
