  1. Adequan is the best. Pricey but you don't have to do it everyday and it will actually reverse the wear of joint cartilage (arthritis). I use it on my older horses and my show horses as a preventative. It contains HA and HA is found in joint injections which are often used to ease arthritis. Any supplement with HA is expensive but i highly reccomend it over any othe treatment for artritis. I have heard good things about recovery HQ but have not personally used it.

  2. I have been giving this to my Mare since March! however I also give her Glucosamine and Chondrotin and MSM, and Devils Claw! she has Arthritis in her right front leg and it was so bad I had 2 vets tell me to put her down!  I decided to try this first and she is not 100% yet but she is not lame now,  she is not in pain and can carry her own weight  right now! I tried riding,  but 10 minutes into it she lamed up again! so I'm giving her the summer off and will try again in the Fall an see if has helped at all! I'm not sure if it's the joint formula or a combination of all.

If  theses don't work I'll have to find a nice place that would like a pasture mate! she would be good for that or giving young kids backyard rides.

Good luck with the joint care formula hope it works for you! and I hope your horse is out of pain soon, arthritis is so nasty

  3. devils claw is good and this medincine called surpass its a little expensive but its supposed to work really good

  4. We use this product when we race barrels, even on young horses (5yrs or older). It seems to keep them comfortable.

  5. Total Joint Care is a good joint supplement, as far as the ingredients and the amount that each dose contains. I am in love with Acti-Flex Senior, which has even more of everything in it, as well as HA, to help the horse absorb the other ingredients better. Even though this formula was developed for senior horses, we use it on all of ours to prevent injuries and help with any stress to their joints :-D
