  2. I have a 16.0 hand warmblood cross that is 8.  He is out of Onasis (Trekahner) and is mother was a red roan paint.  He is solid bay.  His showname is Anchorman and his barn name is Trevor.  I share him with my 17 year old son that shows him in the hunters.  I ride hunt seat as well but I have zero interest in showing.  He is our second horse and we have owned him a little over a year.

  3. I have three APHA (paint) horses-one overo, one medicine hat tovero, and a minimal white tobiano.I show in both western and english at shows.I have owned TB's and QH's that I did three day eventing on and I used to own Saddlebreds that I showed saddleseat on years ago

  4. I have a Welsh Pony named Sugar Plum Fairy Dust. She's black w/ a star and stripe. 12.2 1/2 hh.

And I have a QH named Glory. bay with star stripe and snip, back legs have socks and front left has a cornett band. 14.2 hh.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE them both so much and would never sell them.

  5. Awwe you have a lovely horse :)

Mine is a 6yo, 16.2hh gelding. he was bred by Concorde, and is Warmblood x irish draft.

We do dressage, show jumping, and hopefully some eventing soon.

I don't own many pictures as we have not had him long. Also might have to sell him on when we've trained him, but we already have a great bond :) I'm definitely going to miss his character... Not so much his rearing though :p

  6. I have a 6 year old OTTB. His name is Flag. he is everything to me(: I've had him for a little over a month now. My goal is to be able to do the large Junior Hunters with him, or just a hunter class. We'll see how that goes;) I might just have to do jumpers, but that's alright. He's my baby. Really, he's like a large dog.

  7. What a sweet guy you have.

I have a 28 year old Standard Bred (Beau) that I have had for 21 years and a 10 year old Welsh pony (Tucker) that I have had since April.

They are both very special to me and I try and spend as much time with them as i can.

  8. Heres some of me and my 10 year old arabian gelding Rebel.

  9. Aww - cute guy!

My boy's a 7-yr old, dark bay TBX that came from an equine rescue. They had saved his mother from slaughter, (buying her at the meat auction, bidding blindly), and not realising that she was pregnant. He was born that Easter Sunday - all legs and attitude! The cross part we think is quarter horse, but there's no way to know for sure.

I met him when I went to do a story on the rescue for our local paper - I had NO intentions of getting a horse, but it was love at first sight. I couldn't say no to that face!

He's the one that everyone in the barn knows as the lovable goofball who thinks all the other horses will be his friend... and they don't have a choice in the matter! (It's led to a lot of bite marks, but he's way too determined to give up. They totally don't mean that!)

We ride Western, and the ultimate goal is to be able to take him trail riding anywhere. Once I get him over the idea that everything - wind, rocks, rabbits.... - is going to eat him, we'll be good to go! For as scared as he is of anything new, he does amazingly well. Just when I think he's going to lose his mind, he's more solid than I could ask of him.

Best story I ever did as a reporter, and best friend I could ever ask for!

  10. i have a 16 year old bay breeding stock paint that does everything! he's definitely an all around horse, and a pain in my butt, but i love him to death. i almost sold him this spring, but had to call a no sale last minute cause i couldn't do it. he also recently got arthritis in his hocks so he just chills in the pasture for the most part. i also have a 4 year old paint pony mare for sale that i've had since she was a yearling, i started her myself and she is soooo quiet! last but not least, my 4 year old bay quarter horse mare, i have had since about april, i know the people i bought her from and i have been looking to buy her for two years now! she is now my main show horse, but she won't take her left lead and she's a little hard in the face, needless to say, we have a little work to do. but i'm still impressed with how far we've come since the beginning of the season! i love all my horses more than anything! :)
