fans and those involved in the horse business, by surprise. Additionally, the racehorse will not be featured in any event, until the Totesport Gold Cup that will kick off at Cheltenham, next March.
One of the owners, Ian Robinson, announced that the connections were disappointed to reveal that the winner of the Gold Cup will not be running in the highlight event, at Kempton, as his trainer did not get ample time for the practice sessions. This happened
when he sustained an injury in his near-fore, while contending the Betfair Chase, last month. Talking to the correspondents on Monday, Ian Robinson was reported as saying, “It’s sad but not the end of the world. We have just run out of time and we talked with
the trainer and vet this morning and it was decided not to carry on with him for Kempton.”
Besides Imperial Commander, two other racehorses namely Catch Me and Captain Cee Bee have also been reported to have pulled out of the significant event at Kempton, on Monday.

Nacarat, Forpadydeplasterer, Planet of Sound and Here comes the truth. The aforementioned colts are the most fancied ones, amongst the field of 26 contenders. Now that Imperial Commander has been ruled out of the event, Kauto Star’s chances of taking over
the field have increased significantly. Since most of the horse racing events have been cancelled or postponed ,due to the big freeze that is prevailing in Britain and Ireland, King George meeting ,is going to be a great treat for the fans of the sport.Other
races ,which are in doubt this week include, the Fairyhouse triple Grade I card, which has been moved again. Apart from this, the Huntingdon racecourse officials will be inspecting for the Peterborough Chase card.
