  1. hold on for dear life...and go as fast as you can

  2. Emphasize your passion! ~ Your love of horses, helping & your willingness to learn. Express how important the job is to you & how much it means to you. Employers appreciate honesty & respect passion. Many want inexperience...it makes teaching you THEIR way easier...Unteaching, unlearning & then reteaching & relearning is harder. They have a fresh, clean slate with you! Tell them so.

  3. i agree with runfree on the tips on how to get the job. as for the riding, no it's not very hard to pick up riding. but it gets harder as you get better. once you learn how to ride well then you will probably start learning more advanced things.. those will depend on wether you will chose to ride western or english. be prepared for pain in your calf muscles and bruises on the insides of your legs. especially if you try to ride to much that will occur. oh and when you go near a horse. try not to be nervous.. they can actually pick up on what your feeling and if you're nervous they wil get nervous too.
