Horse riding??????????

Question

do you think its weird that i know how to ride a horse with no pratice. i mean i know how to gallop, run, control my horse, and jump small jumps on a horse with no major pratice. i went to horse camp and from day one i knew how to do that stuff. i only went on a horse twice in my life since horse camp how did i know how to do all that stuff?

Omg how do you do all those? i've been to horse camps several and i wasn't able to those! its probably just good intuition

i was the same way i just had to watch my step mom ride first then i got up there and i could do every thing.

It's not that unusual to know how to make the horse go without having ridden before.  It's sort of a part of our culture... you see cartoons with people riding horses as a child.  You generally know what to do.  I'm guessing your form wasn't perfect... the basics of horseback riding aren't that hard, but it takes years of practice to master your posture and such.  Some people just have natural abilities and don't need a lot of training... you're naturally good at horseback riding... Michael Phelps is naturally good at swimming.  Everyone has something that they're good at!

Its not weird for some people these things just come naturally, like for me i can post to the trot naturally on any horse with no problem.
