Horse that does absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

Hi my horse is called Leonardoo and when i ride him he does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! Every single day we just walk round the arena. I use spurs, crops and a lunging whip but he still does not go. I am sick of this! He does a buck and nothing else so i am not afraid to smack him. Experienced riders have been on him but he still does nothing. He is a TB x welsh 14.2 9yrs .Ireallyy need help.My 60 year old gran took him a trot up the road and he galloped off with her! She fell off and lived luckily she did not brake any thing. should i send him away to get schooled? What do you think i should do? HELP!!!

You need to take him to a trainer, but don't "send him away to get schooled". If you really want results, find a trainer who is willing to work with BOTH of you. It does no good for someone to train your horse if you don't know how to get the same results out of the horse. I wouldn't recommend selling him either, because clearly, he needs an experienced rider and few experienced riders are willing to put time and money into a horse they aren't going to be able to do much with (obviously they wouldn't be using this horse to show, breed or even use for lessons).

Maybe he doesn't want you to ride him! Just love him the way he is & don't whip him.

Send him off for training if you can't handle him.

if you live in wa then go to laurie's riding lessons and she can work w/ ANY horse no matter what

Why did you buy him if he doesn't do what you want?

Try a trainer.  If that doesn't help, try to sell him to someone that just wants a horse that only walks.
