  1. You can teach him to give kisses. It's really easy. Just put carrots in your mouth, be sure you let him see/smell it's there and make a Kissie noise or some other signal and pretty quick he'll give you kisses with no carrot. Just be careful he knows not to bite. I held my hand flat over my face/around the carrot untill I knew my horse new what I wanted of him.

  2. get a few books from the library.

  3. Try the book Trickonometry.

    http://www.amazon.com/Trickonometry-Secr...

I used it to teach mine to bow and would do more if I had the facilities to do it properly (like and actual inclosed space).

  4. how about when you walk in to the barn to see him say his name and have him say hello and nod his head or smiling

  5. hey my name is trish, i am in the process of getting a horse of my own, and i take care of my neighbors young, green, horses, so she teaches them tricks now, and then will train them more, Some things you could teach your horse are, to smile, to hug, which is putting their head under your arm and a little around your side, also hove, like saying paw to a dog lol, nodding yes and no, sitting, beleive it or not they do teach some horses to sit on command, its kinda funny lol, also stuff like kisses, or naughty, which is putting their hove over their snout a little, also just like a dog, and then of coarse, back forward, side step, lift leg, and stuff like that, good luck your friend, trish
