Horseback Riding On Wilmington Beach, NC?

Question

i have horses but i was wondering if anyone who lived in or near Wilmington, NC could tell me if there is a beach that lets people bring their horses and ride on the beach.

I know you can't on Wrightsville Beach, which is the only beach right in Wilmington. But you may want to try calling the surrounding, less touristy beach towns around town. I have included links for the beaches that are within 20 miles of Wilmington.

If Topsail allows it, I would reccommend that beach. It has great, free parking with hardly any tourists. Good luck!
