Horses, do you love them?

Question

i love horses whether that be having a ride on them on the beach (when i was younger), or watching horse racing. do you like horses?

Absolutey love them, I only started riding about 7ish years ago, but it's fantastic!  I also used to work on the farm where I was learning to ride until I did my back in - d'oh!  Unfortunately I'm having to take a bit of a break from it because we've just bought a house and I needed to cut back on expense aargh!  I agree with you - riding along the beach is perfect, I only started riding because that was what I wanted to do, so I figured Blackpool donkeys aren't quite the same so I'd best learn!

hate them.  ive nearly crashed twice due to fcuking horses in the middle of the roads where i live.

Of course! They are extremely intelligent, if you get the right one, loving, and fun to be around. They require much more care than a cat or dog, but it is very rewarding. (Nothing against cats and dogs, I have two of my own :)

I love horses and have worked with and ridden them for most of my life, over 30 years. Horses are beautiful creatures- and there is nothing in my experience that compares with riding in the open countryside or competing in shows. Horses provide love, companionship, and affection that is sometimes hard to come by with people. To James: I'm sorry you have nearly crashed your car into a horse a couple times, but please, watch your language!! There are young people who use and read the responses on this site, and they don't need to see and hear that kind of talk. It's also offensive to those of us who really love horses- which is most of the people on this site.

they're alright. i prefer monkeys, tee hee, monkeys are great. they spend all day w*nking and trying to steal from people. i wish i was a monkey

Its great to go & watch horse racing & see how powerful these animals are. Its fair to say I love them if they win for me with a few quid riding on them, but am not so keen when the ones I back lose.

yes... i av a welsh cob and love to show him all over the country, i av won loads of shows, he is one of the top show horses in the uk, horses is my life

love them, especially the very fast ones. been to an ex-race-horse sanctuary in surrey where you can ride them in the country side at high speed, was pretty cool

I LOVE them so much! I go riding every week (started when I was 8) sometime I plan to have one of my own.

i generally love all animals but horses scare me a little and they remind me of posh snooty people, you know with their long faces n stuff? sorry.

I love horses! I ride a little pony and I love him SO much! Everyone doesn't like him because he has got a major attitude and he takes off when you ask him to canter. But he is sweet to me! (most of the time...)

I adore horses. I don't like horse racing though because they whip the poor things!
