Horses after Horse Racing?

Is it true that the winning Horse of a Horse Race is the first one to go to the glue factory ? I saw that on a TV show. It was a movie I was watching.

  3. Horses do not go to "the glue factory" anymore.   Racehorses generally end up as breeding animals or are trained as a second profession, such as Polo Ponies, riding horses, or jumping horses.  

        However, sadly, Some Racehorses do end up at meat packing plants as Europeans and Japan enjoy horsemeat, the horse racing industry is trying to get a law passed to shut down the three plants that process horses.

  5. Not true. Racehorses are retired to pasture and live out their remaining years in utter comfort. If by chance a horse is injured in a race, whether it be a pedigree or a nag, then they are humanely dispatched. Owners normally have the remains buried.
