I just got into a Radiography program at my school and I have no clinical experience yet, but I am unhappy with my current job and would like to work in a hospital until I graduate. Are there any part time jobs in hospitals that require no clinical experience and if so, what is there pay range, hours, description, and etc. ~Thanks

  1. A great place would be something to do with the radiology department of a hospital.  You could work in the film library, where you would file patient's x-rays into their charts or get them ready to be sent to another doctor or facility.  You might get a job in the scheduling department or reception area of radiology.  The radiology department also uses transporters.  These are people who go up on the floors to bring patients down to the department for their exams.  Or a darkroom tech, who runs the x-ray films.  I don't believe any of these positions require any experience.  Talk with your program director or clinical director about this.  They will have established professional relationships with the managers and department heads of your clinical sites, and might be able to help you get a position there.  Best wishes...
