  1. Because the Canadiens will sign him

  2. If that occurs, i can honestly say i would become a fan of Florida.

  3. I think he may also want a team that can go to the Cup and i dont know if Florida is the place and they may not want to shell out that much cash for him.

  4. Not a big enough market for a player of that caliber, sorry. We (pittsburgh) offered him a 5 year 35mil deal that he turned down, word is edmonton is the front runner right now.

  5. Theres not really much of a chance.  Hossa wants to play for a legitimate contender, and Florida doesn't really qualify.  There are plenty of teams pretty much willing to pay him whatever he wants, including Atlanta, but he wants a shot at the cup.

  6. no way man. he will stay on home and play tha 08/09 season in PITTSBURGH!!!!!!!!!! ofcourse tha lightning already have 3 of tha pens players right now.... why not??

  7. if they have $10 mil. a year for more than 5 years, you got him. I don't get it though. Are hockey players not content with winning the cup anymore? The Pens were so close this year, yet every one of their players is packing their bags because they want more money, no matter if that team has no chance of a cup.

  8. probably less than 5%

he'll end up in either NY, Boston or quite possibly stay in Pittsburgh in my opinion

  9. Highly unlikely since when has Florida been a cup contender
