  1. Being from Boston, we know we need a goal scorer like Hossa to come in and finish.  Everyone seems to remember Hossa and Chara being friends from their stints in Ottawa, but tends to forget Hossa's 2 best seasons in the NHL (point totals of 92 and 100) were in ATL.  His 92 point season in 80 games (05-06) where he scored 39 and tallied 53 assists was with Marc Savard.  Yes Big Z and Hossa are good friends, but wouldn't you think that having a player like Savvy would lure him in that much more.

The Bruins currently have $6.6 million left in Cap space.  They will have to sign some younger players to lower contracts, but they can make a bid at Hossa.  They would really have a great shot at getting him if they boughtout Glen Murray, giving them about 1/2 of his $4.15 mill to spend, while eating the rest.  Either way I think it would be a great move for us, even if we have to overpay a bit.  With the Celts winning the NBA Finals this year (big 3 still intacted for a few more), Sox winning it and leading the AL East again, and Patriots going undefeated all the way to their loss in the Superbowl, there is no better time to be a Boston sportsfan.  The Bruins see this and lets hope they can bring one home within a couple seasons from now.

  2. I found it!!

  3. Uh Huh. An article that's a youtube link? Yeah, that's really deceiving. And Wasn't it you who posted a rick roll a day or two ago?

Rick Rolls have got to the the dumbest internet joke ever...

And yes, I did figure it out before I clicked the link. An "article" on youtube... yeah.

Boston Boy pointed already turned down a 7 + mill offer, He's going to probably get 10 mil. At least. And you can't sign players to lower contract amounts unless they're nearing the end of their careers. In order to keep a RFA off  the market you have to offer at least a 10% raise. And if you don't offer enough there will be offer sheets and you will loose those players.

For the money they have, Hossa will not go to the bruins.

  4. u guys are both idiots

I like the new twist on the old mix.

There are talks of both of them leaving there teams. What about if they both go to the Leafs.

  6. Would you guys quit s******g around. There are lots of other Slovakian players in the NHL.

Oh by the way here's the link you couldn't find.

  7. I heard the same rumour only slightly tweaked. He might go to Boston OR Vancouver. Because his friend Pavol Demitra may sign in Vancouver.

  8. That's a possibility, but I still have faith. I'm still listening to Hossa's words. The Penguins are still his top choice.

It's his dang f'ing agent that's s******g us over. His agent thinks he can do better. Oh well. I still have faith that he'll stay. And I never have faith.

  9. The three of you are all wrong, it's this link.

    So incredibly hot...lol

Seriously, that's actually a very good possibility. Doesn't the Bruins have the cap space to sign him?

Just one of my favourite songs of all-time (and hardest to learn because of the intro). Much better when it's live.

LOL No...if I was her, I'd be able to get any high-paying job in the world.

  10. WRONG link doh head!! I wasn't aware that Chara and Hossa were THAT close. Yes they played in Ottawa together but that's about it.
