  1. Geez......Wings..... 1stTy now Hossa.....Kinda like dating your bestfriends Ex- Girlfriend. Bro's before Hoes!!! I agree after a post season battle how could you jump onto the enemys ship against your old team. But i guess that's what renters do?

You got a Great player in a weird situation...Could he be there as trade bait or will the wing move some core players now??

  2. ah, dont even get me started.

    hes a pansy.

    extremely pissed right now.

    we better get jagr.

  3. I hope he loses in the Finals to Pittsburgh, that would be awesome, but its not gonna happen.

  4. Last one out of the Penguins locker room please turn out the lights

  5. I hate Hossa.

It's okay we are getting Jagr, he's better then Hossa!

  6. Really takes balls to call someone an idiot and then block them eh?

    Good pick up by Detroit.

I'm not calling you dumb or an idiot, I'm not even calling out your opinion, and I sure as f*ck ain't no bandwagon jumper. I'm saying, calling someone an idiot, then blocking them, is for pansies. Don't be a pansy.

  7. The Hossa to Detroit deal completely surprised me. I just can't see him in a Red Wings jersey.

  8. Maybe there's still a chance to sway him to Buffalo if I make him brownies...

  9. You don't want a 5 time all star that has scored 43 goals or more a few times in his career? You think you Red Wings fan are alittle spoiled when you dont want a guy like this?I would do cart wheels(pun) if I got an "enemy" who had numbers like Hossa.

  10. im a pens fan and dont think its right to have hossa on the wings. they play agaenst him in the finals and then a month later you pick him up. i dont like it

  11. Wow, Hossa has really burned the Pittsburgh fans and organization. I can't believe he would go to the team that beat his team in the Stanley Cup finals. He definitely won't be getting a warm reception in Pittsburgh.

  12. Ryan

Something tells me your hatride will subside when we're celebrating again next year!

Ken Holland for President or King or whatever he wants to be!

    Go Wings!

  13. Ha, I love it.  Detroit is going to be stacked as h**l this year.

  14. It's very surprising, but I'll welcome Hossa to Hockeytown.  This is icing on the cake after going out and getting the needs (Stuart, Conklin, Lilja).  Maybe the scheme is to let Filppula go and bring up Ericsson after this year.

  15. have fun with the pens leftovers. =P lol no no, kidding.

But Gill took a lot of cheap shots against the Pens during the games we played against him, and they don't hold that against each other.

  16. so Anaheim should hate Schneider. and shouldn't have signed him. same thing w/ Bertuzzi. oh by the way, Fedorov never would've moved (because he's the "enemy"), and neither would've Coffey, Shanahan. you're basically implying that once a person is on a different team, that he shouldn't be acquired by another team. we didn't even play the Pens in the regular season. they are NOT our rival. i didn't feel threatened by them. it's unfortunate that you do, regardless of if you admit it. (actions speak louder than words).

Hossa isn't the enemy. he's a great scorer. now if this were Forsberg, it would be a different story.

a GM is either committed to winning or he is not. if a good player makes the team better, then frankly, you should sign him. although he HAPPENED to be traded to the Pens b4 the trade deadline, we didn't know that we'd meet them in the finals.

Frankly, i was hoping that we WOULD make a trade this past Feb or March to get him. we were a little late. everyone knows that the wings have a great organization such that they're willing to lose a little $$ to play for them. look at Bowman, Yzerman, Chelios. they're still hanging around. it's about loyalty. why wouldn't Hossa be apart of that. and why wouldn't we want Hossa?

it's not like he's Forsberg or Pronger (i don't hate Pronger. I question his judgement and think that he's a liability.)

after all, by your thinking, we would have never got McCarty back, or Dallas Drake. or Osgood for that matter.

why are some of the most respected wings fans disagreeing w/ you? even respected non-wings fans (Tuna and Joe). that should tell you something. yes, you are entitled to your opinion, but so are they. wait until NIPS joins in. what i would pay for to have Zam here.

please block me too. that's a list that i WANT to be on.

you've gotta be F%^&ing kidding me!!! this coming from a guy whose avatar says "Welcome to Detroit, Ty"!!!! how the heck is that different from Hossa? one word: HYPOCRITE!

where were the cheap shots? name the wings players on the receiving end.!!!!

it's not that people who disagree w/ you are saying that you are wrong and that you should have their same opinion. what they are saying is ... your reasoning is INCONSITENT. yep, add Chelios to that list.

yep, Joe, spoiled red wing fan. shoot, the whole forum has been talking about how their team would LOVE to have Hossa, including rivals of Pitt, yet this guy calls him the enemy. wait, what about Robitaille? Hull?

  17. i second that.....(not that he wasnt the enemy to NJ lol)...lets see how much we can stack a team....its sickening

  18. I agree it isn't right. I think this is over doing on the part of Holland. I compare it to when the Yankees got A-Rod. I think there are too many egos in the locker room, although I could be and probably am wrong.

  19. It not like we picked up Claude Lemieux. He happened to play for the team we just beat, but there isn't any bad blood. Do you remember when we picked up Chelios. There was some history and bad blood there. But it worked out for the team and for him.

  20. Ryan what egos? detroit is probably one of the most humble teams in the NHL. the only player that MIGHT come close to haveing an ego is MAYBE and that is a BIG MAYBE datsyuk and he is just as humble as everyone else.

  21. I agree with you, Ryan because I see your point of view on this.

hah, yeah if Forsberg ever came to Detroit I think I would probably just about die....but after a while I'll probably warm up to Hossa and be happy that he's on the team but it will seem strange and just wrong at first

  22. WTF is this?

  23. Was not expecting that. I would have stayed in Pittsburgh. Didn't they offer him the same amount. Bad decision.

  24. You're entitled to your opinion...

I think Hossa is an ally...but that is just my opinion.

All you guys need to knock it off, or somebody is going to their room without supper!!!  And I don't EVEN want to hear, "He started it!" ...lol.
