Hostel / villa / B&B / pensione / hotel near Marco Polo airport, Venice?

Hi,

I'm arriving late at night in Marco Polo airport, Venice, with a low cost airline.

Can anyone please tell me if there are any reasonable-priced places to stay for one night near the airport?

what you should do is:

-take a look at the hotels in the sites I gave. Ask/see prices.

-before booking try a google.it search in the following way:

hotel (name given above) mestre

most of these hotels can be booked in different sites than the official hotel site and this way can be cheaper.

There's a Marriott Courtyard (Courtyard Venice Airport) about a kilometer from Marco Polo. This link has info: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/vc...

If you're arriving by low cost airline make sure that the flight lands at Marco Polo. Some low cost flights (Transavia and Ryanair) land at the Treviso airport rather than Marco Polo. The shuttle buses to the city are reliable, but won't be convenient to the Courtyard.
