i need to find a hostel near parc jean drapeau in montreal.

First, a word of warning: I have never used a hostel in Montreal, nor do I know anyone who has.

That being said, I can tell you that there are no hotels (to my knowledge) on the island where Parc Jean Drapeau is located. You have La Ronde (Six Flags), you have the Casino, and you have the Grand Prix Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, among other things.

I have heard that the Auberge de Paris Montreal Hostel is one of the better places, as it is run by an actual hotel. But I can't tell you anything about cleanliness or noise. You'll have to read the reviews on the websites and look for some dated from 2007 or 2008.
